The OnMed Station is designed to provide life-sized virtual consultations with physicians and automated pharmaceutical services and is the output of over six years of development by the Florida-based startup.
The initial deployment of the stations is part of the hospital’s staff member health plan, available to staff members only.
OnMed’s stations provide high definition video and audio capabilities, which allow for real-time consultations with a doctor or superior practice supplier.
The stations can take height, weight, and body mass index measurements, in addition to readings of blood pressure, respiration and blood oxygen saturation
Other capabilities embody thermal imaging to read body temperature and diagnose infection, the ability to dispense heaps of common drugs, and HD audio and visual inspection of vitals.
In an effort to provide patient consolation, privacy, well-being, and security, the stations also boast features, including privacy glass and high-output ultraviolet surface and air sanitization, which remove pathogens after every patient visit.
The stations have biometric security features with multi-factor authentication for pharmacy access with code and key locks, a retractable armrest and seat, and a payment program.
To aid in maintaining records, the stations give patients the option to transmit outcomes to primary care physicians securely and can also present paper prescriptions, e-prescriptions to preferred pharmacies, in addition to referrals and self-service lab tools for diagnostic testing.
