OMG! IS THERE ANY STOP TO THIS EVER? 14 LIKELY CAUSES OF MONKEY POX NOW FOUND IN NYC
There has been an increase in moneybox cases in New York since earlier, According to the health department the city has tested 14 new cases, and has been admitted to the hospital. The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene remained focused on the city’s LGBTQ community as it issued a warning about the virus’s spread.
“The recent instances are predominantly spreading among guys who have sex with men,” according to the health authority. “This group is now at a higher risk of exposure.” On Thursday, the organization issued a similar alert. Orthopoxvirus has tested positive in 14 people in NYC, which is said to be monkeypox.
There hasn’t been a break in monkey pox cases since earlier, it is rising day by day and affecting millions of people. As it is not deadly as covid but spreading faster, monkeypox is now being a big problem for the government internationally to handle. As you know the officials confirmed that it is spread through close contact with the skin such as sex, kissing, hugging, etc.

As of Monday, more than 1000 cases have been recorded by the officials in 29 countries and still rising continually. As more and more cases started to emerge the WHO is giving its best to put up the vaccines for monkeypox as soon as possible. This monkey pox disease was started first again in Africa and slowly started spreading to other countries. In most cases, it is found that monkeypox spreads through sexual contact between gay or bisexual. These cases were shown from the pride event that was held in Belgium. But that doesn’t mean gays and bisexuals are the only ones behind the spread of spreading this disease. It is also said by the WHO that “gay and the bisexual are not the main reason behind the spreaders of monkeypox.
To combat the new outbreak, the CDC raised its monkey pox alert to level 2 last week and advised people to “take extra precautions.” People are recommended to “take extra precautions” to combat the epidemic under that level of guidance. That’s one step down from the CDC’s advice to “avoid unnecessary travel.” Even though the CDC claims the danger to the general population is low, the new level of alert encourages people to avoid intimate contact with sick people, such as those with skin or genital sores, as well as sick or dead animals. Those who are experiencing symptoms such as an unexplained skin rash or lesions are advised to avoid contact with others and seek medical advice. It’s also a good idea to avoid eating wild game meat or utilizing items (such as creams, powders, or lotions) made from African wild animals.
For now, we can’t do anything more than just hope for its end, we can just follow the precautions given by the government and mostly don’t come in skin contact with the infected ones.
