A 4.1-magnitude quake shook California, followed by six additional quakes throughout the Bay Area
In the previous ten days, there have been a total of five earthquakes with magnitudes 3.0 or greater centered around here.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake was most likely caused by the Concord-Green Valley Fault and had a depth of more than 12 miles.
followed by at least six other earthquakes reported between 5:14 a.m. and 6:22 a.m.
An earthquake had been felt within the area serviced by BART. Trains are running at reduced speeds while we complete track inspections. Please expect residual delays of 20-MIN systemwide.

No major damage or fatalities have been reported. The quake prompted transportation delays throughout the Bay Area.
Following the quake, officials with the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system said they would be performing track inspections and warned passengers of a systemwide delay of around 20 minutes.
