In many countries of the world, new strains of the coronavirus are causing problems. The World Health Organization has also warned in this regard.
According to a top WHO official, due to the introduction of new strains of the coronavirus in many African countries, the second wave of this epidemic may be here for a long time. Because of this, the already weak public health infrastructure of these countries can completely collapse.
A statement in this regard has been issued by Matshidiso Moiti, Regional Director of the continent of WHO. He said efforts to control the spread of the corona epidemic could fail due to the new strains of the coronavirus being highly contagious. Moiti expressed concern that the new strain of coronavirus is spreading rapidly in many African countries.
